Yes, these pens are equipped with a “capacitive stylus” that works great on smartphones.  It will emulate using your finger.

What is the difference between a capacitive stylus and an active stylus?

Capacitive styluses also called passive styluses to emulate a finger by using a tip made from rubber or conductive foam (the type promotional pens with stylus use).  They do not contain any electronics and cannot differentiate between finger, palm or stylus.

Active styluses include digital components that communicate directly with the touch device.  Active styluses can communicate advanced features such as tilt, programmable buttons, eraser tips and palm detection.

How can these pens be branded with my logo?

The 3 most common decoration types are pad printing, digital printing or laser engraving.  For most metal stylus pens we recommend laser engraving and on plastic depending upon the logo either a pad print or digital print.
